This is kid is braver than most people, including myself, will ever be. This event is one of the most awe inspiring things I've ever seen.
He goes to Kenosha because he want to help defend the community. He helps clean up the community by removing graffiti from a school. He offers medical assistance to anyone who needs it including rioters/protestors.
You can tell he has been shooting/training prior to this. He's disciplined and avoids engagement at every step. When he cant avoid attackers he doesn't spray bullets wildly or haphazardly. He selects and only engages active threats.
Notice in this clip the attacker feigns surrender, Kyle recognizes this and doesnt shoot until the guy tries to engage a second time. Suppossedly he cleared a jam before shooting. Then he looks at the next target, the man directly behind lefty. This guys has his hands up and Kyle doesn't shoot.
Kyle's eyes are super-wide in what is probably a response to adrenaline and the shock of what just occurred. Even still he has the presence of mind to select targets and avoid shooting bystanders. Look how his finger is automatically off the trigger with no target present. He assesses and continues on.
I think that urban camo guy firing into the air saved him from getting tackled by the head shot guy. After that random shot it seems like Kyle turns to see where the shot came from but as he turns Rosenbaum is on him. In a fraction of a second he fires four shots hitting Rosenbaum in the thigh, groin, back and grazing his head.
