In case you haven't heard, Voat is shutting down on Christmas Day. This means that, until it finds a new home, Dreamworlds is going to be on hiatus.
I can't believe it's been over half a decade, but over half a decade ago I explained why I created Dreamworlds in the first place. A little over a year after, I followed up with a post further explaining why I do what I do here at /v/Dreamworlds. It all remains true. There's not much more to add apart from the fact that Dreamworlds had a good run here on Voat. It was never a big subverse, but I never wanted it to be big. Dreamworlds was always supposed to be a hidden gem to be stumbled upon or spread through word-of-mouth from one art enthusiast to another.
I'll be spending the next few days looking for the next place for Dreamworlds to lay its head. I'll update this post if I find a worthy successor.
Until next time, I'll leave you with a quote that couldn't be more appropriate.
Dreamers come and go, but a dream's forever.

I regret only hearing about you and your dreams today. Nevertheless, it is good to have met you. I intend to read through this subs old posts so that it won't be forgotten. Fare well, kindred spirit.

I already take notes about dreams if they're vivid/important enough.
I went to college with somebody that said he could astral project. He'd do this thing where he'd look into a hand mirror and visualize another location in the mirror; he'd spin around slowly and basically teleport by seeing another location in the mirror and essentially building the new location with it. He said they he could do this because mirrors always look "off" in dreams so you can use them to do this sort of thing. He also said he did it that way because if you simply close your eyes and open them you run the risk of opening your eyes in real life. I told him, "Why don't you visualize another location in your bathroom mirror and jump through the mirror?" and he said it was a good idea. Don't know if anything ever came of it, but it's something worth trying if you can astrally project.
Dreamworlds isn't done yet, though. I'll update this submission with the new location Dreamworlds'll be going to.
