We need to free the market. If the government's insurance scheme wants to run in parallel then that's fine. They can do that in addition to the free market. Last I checked the existence of food stamps didn't necesitate everyone using the grocery store to sign a contract saying they will buy certain grociers. It's litterally illegal to seek care without signing such a contract right now. They sure stuck it to pharma alright.

Companies buying political parties and making sure prices increased for the US and every other place is cheaper. Hip surgery here is off the wall expensive. It would be cheaper to fly to a nother country have the surgery recover from it and come back. All for the sake of the almighty dollar.
