The internet can easily bring people together and help progress humanity further. Humanity isn't meant to stay the same. We evolve. We have found a way to communicate almost instantly with anyone as far as satalites can beem a signal through space. That is mind-boggling insane to think about. Its like that new interstellar movie said... Were not meant to save the earth. We're meant to leave it. We progress. And if it wasn't for the internet, u wouldn't be reading this stupid rant and i wouldn't know shit except for what i read and hear. Sure it could be cancerous to people who only use facebook, porn, or darknet shit. But to go as far as saying its a step backwards for humanity in many ways is totally ridiculous.
