I was watching this live, and know Suarez's history, but still think those reporting blew the story out of proportion.
I think the cannibal meme is just hilarious!
IMO, this is just how he reacts in a 'fight of flight' response mechanism. The Italians were playing frustrating football, that defender in particular. Then the Italian elbows Suarez, whereby, he reacts by taking a bite! Is that more offensive than a head-butt, studs up slide tackle, elbow to the head? I don't think so.
