The problem is that these horribly spoiled and maladjusted students turned the college into their very own surrogate home; something it is not fit to be, obviously. And by extension, the school authority figures become surrogate parents. They do not act like this off campus. Had they spied Vote Trump posters around town they would simply ignore them.
