I saw The Manchurian Candidate. It sickens me the kind of things TPTB use these poor guys for. I'm convinced Oswald and Hinckley might have been guinea pigs too. Reading some of the articles quoting the manifesto, it sounds like Odom may have had something planted in his subconscious while enlisted. The "blue light," the unpleasant sexual "fantasies," his "meditation experiences" (LSD?)... CIA plausible deniability 101: discredit the hired guns as lunatics with voices in their heads, chasing after aliens, believing in outlandish conspiracies, diagnosed with mental illness...
I don't think it's a coincidence either that schizophrenia tends to "manifest" itself right around the age when soldiers are away on tours of duty (late teens through twenties and early thirties) -- when they're most useful and a captive audience. Shit happens, then we get the "lizard aliens" issuing another call for "gun control" and "mental health awareness" to disarm the populace and identify potential dissidents.
You'll never hear anyone in the MSM ask what might have happened to or been done to this poor fellow while he was over there either. Ted Kaczynski was one of the few people to experience this atrocity and live to tell the tale.

Final query: I read the manifesto. It contains a YouTube URL. The link doesn't verify. Anyone know any more?

Yeah, I think you're on to something here. The delusions are a bit too complete. But... why the target? Or was it botched?

I am not at all up to speed on this story. Can you help with some useful sources?
