I don't doubt this for a second. When Ortho-Novum came out, I was in college and that was the pill student health was pushing. All of my friends were on it, myself included, and we all noticed severe changes in our emotional state, so we all dumped it for a lower dose pill. I've had to take the pill most of my life for regulation, otherwise I'd need a hysterectomy (no thanks), but I've never been happy with how it flattens my "happiness" barometer, if you will. It also completely kills your libido. Terrible drug - wish there was a better alternative.
