I work at a college. Just recently our school was featured in a number of news articles regarding guns. We have an armory on campus. We have several majors in the field fish and wildlife, forestry, outdoor recreation, etc. A lot of our graduates become forest and park rangers, game wardens, conservation officers, wildlife specialist, foresters, and all sorts of outdoor careers.
Now today, we are having active shooter training on campus. Sounds like a sketchy series of events to me. Is active shooter training a new thing in campuses across the country?

My company just got written up from osha because we do not have an active shooter plan.
Apparently "return fire" is not detailed enough.
