So let me get this straight, this doc references http://archinte.jamanetwork.com/article.aspx?articleid=619215 with respect to measles in immunized populations. But let's look at actual US measle rates in the US over time, I'll let you guess when the vaccine was introduced.

Voat is full of fucking kooks, or please tell me how big-pharma has hidden the truth about vaccines again?

Ha, that graph starts in 1950!

Let's look at one that starts in 1900.

Looks staggeringly different, doesn't it?

Here's a logarithmic graph from 1912-1975.

Here's the US mortality rate from 1912-1975.

Measles was on its way out without the dangerous vaccine (which was extremely ineffective when released, and caused more outbreaks than it prevented).

catechumen's counter-argument is on point.

Also, Vitamin A is by far the most effective preventative and treatment for measles.

Who's the kook again?

your graph isn't infections, its deaths per 100,000 cases

That doesn't help your argument either, there is no data on infections. Find it, I'll graph it.

Reports of Measles in Canada

Incidence of measles in Canada dropped steadily between the 30s and the 60s, even before the measles vaccine was introduced.

the first line of the source pretty sums it up:

Measles (rubeola) is a leading cause of vaccine-preventable deaths in children worldwide

so, why are vaccines bad again?
