The entire western media does this, some are just more overt than others. American news stations are kind of an oddity because they are not compelled by law to be impartial or truthful. The most popular ones seem to spout unbelievably sensationalist or biased stories, stories being an appropriate descriptor as many of them have no basis in fact. This is not to say that biased news is an exclusively American thing, it is just far more obvious than in many other countries.
Right, but some people think NBC is the "liberal" station. NBC was never "the liberal station." And it's not now. I want to emphasize this so we can begin to shed this "NBC liberal" notion.
The problem with major media is structural. We can't regulate away the bias. We need to change the structure.
Agreed. More liberal than Fox does not mean liberal. It just means not rabidly foaming at the mouth to attack the Democrats. As for changing the structure of the mass media, I think that the internet will do a pretty good job at that IF it isn't throttled by the kingpins of the media world. That is a pretty big if though.

Bottom line: NBC lies to promote wars. But most of us know this already. Let's not forget.

Stop giving NBC any of your attention. Laugh at anyone who does give NBC attention. Then it dies.

You know that, I know that ... Too many don't. Gotta keep getting the word out! :D

The word "liberal" actually means the opposite of what 99% of trailer park republicans think it means.
