I've been listening to Trews and his podcast and I like this guy more and more.

Don't believe the character-assassins, their claims are weak. Their doggedness is a sign of fear.

We need leaders. We don't want to accept it but we do need leaders. We need to stop letting the media marginalize the few people who are principled enough, and charismatic enough to become forces of change.

I upvoted you because it's a totally legitimate point. That's something I'm concerned about too.

I think it's easy to find things you disagree with about someone, while missing that for the most part you're on the same page. I voted for Ron Paul in 2008. Maybe he was too libertarian, but he was the best chance for real change at that point. Brand is too socialist, but who else do we have to follow?

There's nothing in particular, it's more of the issue that he's being presented as the 'voice of counter' in social media and mainstream media.

It's too convenient, to well dispersed and too supported by pundits for me to accept it as genuine.

Even if Brand himself believes what he is doing, I still hold the opinion he is being used as a useful idiot.
