Intel skylake, proof of encryption back door? (Conspiracy)

I was thinking about the recent intel skylake bug. Here.

Is it possible that is the result of a failed encryption backdoor? After all it was found using mersseine prime calculator, which are key to strong encryption.

Perhaps intel attempted to create a flag of some sort when running these high calculations that caused the rest of the chip to mishandle the information?
