Anyway, here's the October 2015 press release from the (DOJ) US Attorney's Office in the District of Oregon regarding the resentencing of the Hammonds.
This is the 'former' US Attorney for Oregon who was in charge of requesting a revision to the original sentence.
And this is why she is the 'former' US Attorney for Oregon.
Not sure if all this means that she was actually negligent in her post at the time but it seems to me that this whole Standoff situation might have been avoided altogether had she just been slightly more mentally stable.
