TLDR would be that the bright orange glow from the melted material shown in several different 9/11 videos is consistent with steel/iron being melted. Steel/iron cannot be melted by jet fuel so the government said that it was actually aluminum that was molten in the videos which has a much lower melting point and also the aircraft that hit the building was 80% aluminum. The counter argument to aluminum being molten in the videos is that aluminum does not glow bright orange but stays silver. The government countered that argument saying it was molten aluminum + office furniture. No results have been replicated showing that any kind of objects mixed with molten aluminum give off a fiery orange lava type texture that is shown in the 9/11 videos. The debate has not gone beyond this point.
