Well I'll be damned. I never knew Moore did a doco as far back as 1989. He gets a lot of flak from everyone in the way he makes his documentaries, but I really like it. Thank you very much on the link!
Just started watching this one now and I must say I really feel for those nice people from Michigan. It's been brutal here in Victoria when Ford, Holden and Toyota up and left in a span of a year or two after announcements had been made.
edit: 1:06:55, and I paraphrase: "a corporation/company exists to make a profit". As much as I hated him saying this it actually is the truth even when looking at the damage these huge companies do to communities when they up and leave. It is in essence the catch 22 of a capitalist system.
