You know what happens when you report to the police that someone mentally ill is a threat to others or themselves? They are involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital where they don't have access to their guns anyway. From several cases I've read about, it is extremely difficult to actually get your firearm back from the police after they have confiscated it. Clear attempt to disarm people that don't have the means to lawyer up against the police.

So when do we organize mass protests?

You'd think the title is sensationalized, but it isn't. Person A claims Person B is a danger to themselves or others for X Reason and that calls for an immediate concession of their weapons until they are deemed mentally fit. I wonder what the criteria for a "healthy mind" is?
