All religions have been subverted, at least in some way, to stray from their paths. After all, how many people do you meet honestly follow the tenants of their chosen faith? Because those "rules" and what not are as vague and general as reading your horoscope.
The shit that is actually specific is so ridiculous, only the most ignorant, head-in-the-sand, want-to-escape-this-reality people buy into. They are desperate for some peace to this world, something to give the disorder and chaos some meaning. I don't blame them, and I do pity them, for there is only one god, and his name is Death.
