There haven't been any terrorist attacks stopped by data collection that this person is referencing. We already have laws on the books to get this kind of data anyway. It's called a warrant, it's legal, and constitutional. Anything else in my opinion is a government over reach.

Yeh, I know this just codifies current practices. We're all being watched. They're drowning in seas of data. It doesn't directly affect any of us until it does, and then the majority whistles idly because it hasn't yet happened to them...
