I know you can use propane to make hash oil and that is literally worth more then gold per gram. It only gets more valuable the farther east and north it moves. The other thing propane cans could be used for is holding chemicals used in meth manufacturing. But they usually use old containers.

Last I checked extracts were like $20/gram, far from being worth more than gold. Then again those are west coast prices, but still from dispensaries.
