Okay, I know a fair bit about guns. But how is that not just basically a semi auto AK-74 or something? It has a pistol grip, but everything else about it resembles an smg or small AR. Can some one tell me what is the line in the sand is, that makes this still a pistol?
That makes sense, there's a lot of extra add ons and after market attachments. But isn't it still an AK receiver? I think I'm gonna look into what actually qualifies as a pistol vs otherwise.
Edit: So I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, I'm just trying to figure this out because I'm curious now.
Wiki says that it's a modified Ak74 hybrid. Earlier The article calls it a compact assault rifle or carbine rifle.
The pistol belongs to the handgun class, which is defined as being able to be fired with one hand. Although this weapon is light enough to do that, I imagine accuracy would be atrocious.
It's also chambered in a 7.62 rifle cartridge instead of a standard pistol round.

The ak is sort of like the ar. It can be assembled in many forms.

So I think it would be a machine pistol at best.

So does that all make sense?
