Government and Media are run by the elite. The elite are concerned of a peasant uprising. They knew the US would be the most difficult of all the peasants to disarm. They've been slowly and methodically disarming Europe, Australia, etc... Wonder what it's like to be part of the ruling class of people in the world, I certainly lost the birth lottery and every subsequent lottery thus far.

i can tell you the ruling class has the most firepower. they're called militaries, judicial systems, and as you put it, governments and medias.

Lots of "oath keepers" out there. Not all of em are on the books (I mean, why draw attention to yourself), but they still exist.
I just hope they exist in numbers large enough to make a difference, if worst come to worst.
