Russia sadly has absolutely no interest in a marxist state at its borders. Also the Kurds are after all a rival to russia-allied Assad, so they will think twice about arming his enemies even if they are on the same side right now.
There are many kurds in what currently is still Syria (Kobane for example), which would probably declare their independence together with the turkish Kurds, removing themselves from Syrian territory.
They have a common enemy now, but once daesh is dealt with, Assad will go back to harassing the Kurds.

Since when are the Kurds Assad's enemies? The Kurds' only friends are the mountains.
