A theory I don't think I've seen here. Basically, right now, ISIL wouldn't stand a chance against a real army, but what if they got more man power? If they made us alienate Muslims, they won't have anywhere else to go, and then there'll be a real threat.

Which is probably why the US is helping them, as war always benefits US economy and gives them an excuse to take away rights.

I'm probably not the first to suggest this, if anyone else has some info on this throw it my way.
