I thought there had to be plants in the audience on last night's sebate, if nothing else. CBS was shilling for Clinton hard.

There are plants at all republican and democratic debates. The national party gets tickets, the state party gets tickets, the local party gets tickets, all the candidates get tickets, and the venue (usually a college) gets tickets. These tickets go to supporters usually financial supporters. Very few tickets are released to the general public. This is nothing new in US political debates. How did you not know this?
