On Npr today I was gladdened to hear that one of the terrorists was identified positively as a French Citizen and not a recent Syrian refugee.
I find it convenient that the weapons have a more Russian sounding name than more readily available Ak-47's. Hopefully we can keep this thread largely fact and source based?

Thank you. No my mistake I was thinking of the brand as secondary to the well known model.
I guess my thinking is along the lines of those few headlines seemed to be making some kind of psychological link to Russia by using that name.
