is the government fighting a proxy war on the constitution the same way they're fighting a proxy war on syria? (Conspiracy)

I'm wondering if the government is financially supporting groups (SJWs) that oppose free speech, and the other amendments in the bill of rights. but more so than that, I'm wondering if it's a conscious effort to take away our civil rights since they don't want the blowback of trying to take them directly.
