I personally don't see an issue with what the Canadian government did, since it is a clear law prohibiting the sale of unpasteurized milk. The issue at hand is the law that makes raw milk illegal, otherwise they are just following their laws.
Also, what's the conspiracy behind this? That the farmer was breaking the law and the government intervened? It's just a shitty law, nuff said.
I think the issue is raised because ethically/morally should citizens fight unjust laws? If we believe that people own their bodies, should they not be permitted to sell/consume raw milk? I'm not a milk drinker myself, but I think that is the core issue.
