So...strategically, what are our reasons for invading Syria? No, I don't want some bullshit moral reason, like we are helping the Syrian people. There's always some kind of true underlying economical reason to why we are going to war.
We've practically declared war on China and Russia, to be honest, that is not a war I want to get into.
I urge you to go look at a map of the middle east while you ponder what I type next.
The United States and Saudi Arabia are very close allies, despite Saudi Arabia having a pretty poor public opinion at the moment. Saudi Arabia has a LOT of oil. After invading Iraq through 911, we have basically thrown that entire country into chaos and established a puppet government. Lebanon was destabilized through everything that happened during the whole Benghazi episode. Now the US is trying to destabilize Syria by training and providing weapons and supplies to terrorists in an attempt to overthrow the democratically elected president of Syria. The majority of the Syrian people like their president. Assad has allegiances with many other countries in the middle east and Syria has been traditionally within Russia's sphere of influence.
Now that the stage is set, let me propose what I believe to be the US's main goal in the middle east. They want to build a pipeline from Saudi Arabia to the Mediterranean Sea. The pipeline will have to go through Iraq and Syria, and possibly Lebanon depending on where they want the port. With the US's tactic of secretly supporting ISIS while publicly denouncing them and not actually fighting them out of the bag, Assad officially invited Putin to come in and handle ISIS. And Russia has been doing a damn good job. Since this interferes with our creation of puppet states to secure our pipeline, and we can't count on training terrorists in the region to do it for us anymore (Russia is wiping them out); we escalate. Put boots on the ground.
To gain and control the last remaining territories and resources for the jewish political and financial power brokers who want global government through their international money banking system and to complete the Greater Israel Project(eretz israel). This stuff is not done for America, but for the jewish power that controls America and the other Western nations.
