This country is just too big to be accountable. They can literally pass anything these days, regardless of any and all opposition. They are bypassing constitutional checks and balances for fucks sake by giving the president authority to sign it without even looking at its contents. On a federal level, this nation doesn't resemble a democracy at all. It looks more like the ECB tell Greece and Portugal to suck a dick. I think this government is wayyyy past salvageable. Time to scrap it and start fresh.
Problem is, an armed populace has got nothing on drones, attack choppers, tanks, and artillery. And even without those things, if it was just guns vs. guns, there's training and body armor on the side of the military. Now even if somehow all equipment and logistics were even, we're all fat. 2/3s of the populace are not fit for combat. The only way a rebellion could happen is if the military turned on the government too, and I don't see that happening too easy.
Bullshit. We've got friends in the brass of every military of the galaxy. The playing field is obscenely unfavorable to TPTB that's why they're trying hand over fist to start WWIII. But we ain't falling for that ruse again.
Their remaining days are few in number. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. That is, unless you're driving.
I feel you. It's definitely a possibility. We need to wrest control back from the corporate media and raise the levels of societal exposure to the truth.
So long as the propaganda and distractions flood the airwaves the majority will remain blind to the facts of what they are and what they could be.
This is unfortunately a very good point. 1 way to get the military to defect would be to stop paying them. I suppose complete & utter economic collapse is our best hope for the phoenix of liberty to rise from the flames.
