It's relevant because if we ever really find aliens out there it's more than likely it's a hoax. Blue Beams first step is the discovery of new alien technology by NASA (the topic of the article).

If it happens in this order or even a slight variation of these:

First, a series of artificially created earthquakes unearthing alien relics that prove religions wrong. Finding these relics in space is even better.
Second, we are subjected to a gigantic holographic space show.
Third a Telepathic Electronic Two-Way that fakes a communication from god. Magnets maybe?
Fourth a simulated alien invasion and countries using all their nukes.

Dude, that plan is fucking terrible. That would never work today. Maybe in some developing countries.

God, I hope if there's a cabal of evil jews running the world or whatever the fuck, you'd think they'd be a little a more intelligent, at least.
