It's California lawmakers that have been testing the waters with limiting peoples rights under liberal control for years. A lot of the "liberals" I meet in San Francisco and Berkeley complain, but they wont ever vote out the people they have kept in office for years.
I get it, you don't like conservative politics, but that doesn't mean you have to vote conservative, just never vote for an incumbent or try another middle or left party... I don't like republicans so I float between independant and libertarian based on how the people have voted in the past and their civil rights record.
How will a third party ever establish if people only vote for two corrupt parties. One more corrupt than the other, but still both corrupt.
