The thing about eugenics is that if you could prevent a child from being born that would be severely handicap, would you do it?
There's testing they can do with modern medicine that they can tell if your child is going be disabled long before it's birth. You have the option to terminate that pregnancy, would you? I know I sure as hell would. No one should have to live a life like that.
That is where it should end though. You making the decision with your family. No one else needs to be involved in you or your families bodies. The problem with modern eugenicist is that they want to get rid of the poor and stupid. Like being poor is passed on through your DNA and being stupid is a crime. I think we should just stop protecting stupid people and let natural selection work lol but hating someone because their family is poor and only expecting them to be poor is some seriously fucked up shit.
Well, there's badly disabled people, any children they have will be disabled too. Should they be allowed to reproduce? There's people with disabilities who say they shouldn't, they wish their parents hadn't have, knowing that their child was going to come out with the same hardship as them.
Why would you want to bring a new life into this world that will be disabled? Or if they identified the gene that makes people more likely to be a murderer or rapist, why would you want that gene to carry on?
Also, natural selection doesn't work with a our society. The government takes care of those people.
