Yeh, Monsanto is the problem... maybe the FDA, EPA and USDA are the problem.

I tried pointing this out in another thread and got downvoated. Government is the problem not big corporations.

Without government regulations these companies wouldn't need to pretend to comply with the law; they'd be free to do whatever the fuck they wanted with impunity. How is that a good thing? Corporations do what is in their best self interest. Over a hundred years of industrial revolution in this country shouldn't be ignored.

There is a thing that is "unseen." The invisible hand of capitalism.

If you had a bad company, and the government wasn't preventing people from making new companies to compete with it, the bad companies would be driven out by insane competition.

What if an oil company charged too much for oil? Someone could say, hm, I'll dig the oil and sell it for a penny less, and make a ton of money! Then someone does the same to him. And it all works out.

But no-- short sighted people like you have set things up so that second step can NEVER HAPPEN because of licensing, regulation, and an utter prevention of creative destruction in the market.

Corporations only care about money. You force harsh regulations and high salaries then they move abroad and do the same thing they wanted to do in the first place.

That's because those destination countries want to put up with that nonsense. Workers need to get paid, and corporations need to realize that this isn't their playground to destroy.
