Bruce Schneier is an extremely well respected and accomplished member of the IT security and crypto community, his site and books are extremely well written and worthy of your time.
So, I clicked on one of the links, but not the one the article says not to click. The one for the screenshots shown on brazillian TV. After finishing the article, I came back here to comment on how well-written it was. Immediately after hitting submit, something happened in my browser. I had another tab open in which I was logged into a popular online service - one of the type that you stay logged into and generally don't have to fuss with. I don't really want to name it. So what happened was, I got kicked out of that service (never, ever happened to me before) and at the same time I was sent an email.
The email looked like it was from that service, but it had a message of "hey, you forgot to set a password. click here to do create one now." I deleted that shit without touching it.
Now, when I try to log into Gmail, it doesn't take me to the traditional view. It keeps be in the "Inbox" view and even when I click the link to switch back, it won't let me do so.
