Thank you for your post. I feel the same way.

I frankly believe that reddit has selectively banned communities with the intent of driving the worst of the worst to Voat.

I also believe that reddit moderators are currently on Voat, producing and promoting racist content with the intent of shaping Voat's community as the "anti-reddit".

Reddit wants voat to be as despicable as it can be, in order to justify the censorship and corporate control of reddit.

Reddit took over content aggregation from digg because it offered a new interface that wasn't as gameable. The idea that a reddit clone can take over from reddit is misguided at best.

It doesn't help that registration is closed. This means that we can't shape the community with other influences.

That way they can say, "See what happens when you have free speech!" Even though things are clearly being manipulated.
