I think modding is inherently corrupting. And I don't like the moderation system here or at Reddit. But I also think this guy is an asshole and would be hard to work with. I've hired plenty of people. No fucking way would he get the job after an interview like that.
On principle I disapprove of moderation. I don't think we should need it.
As a realist I accept that internet anonymity created an entire class of shitlords. I still oppose moderation. Shitlords can do less harm when they can't coopt mod powers for shits and giggles.
