I don't truly believe in anything unless I can see it for myself. I've never been to most of the world, so it might as well not exist in my mind, you know? I have not literally witnessed its existence, but I have it on good authority- based on my experiences and collected knowledge -that the world out there exists. However, good authority means nothing. You couldn't use that in court. Anecdotes hardly matter. Our experiences are our own and they only matter to us and possibly people we are close to. What is the logic of the world?

By that logic you can't trust anything you see either. How do you know you're not a brain in a jar being stimulated by electric probes? You need to draw the line somewhere. Saying the country of Ireland might not exist just because you've never personally been there to see it is a pretty ridiculous statement.
