The guy has dementia, what good is bringing him into court going to do anyway? Guilty or not it's not like he's going to have the ability to recall anything to argue his case anyway.

Dementia where he is able to vote over 200 times since claiming he has it...
If his ability to make decisions is good enough to vote in the house of lords, then he's good enough to be tried in front of a jury.
If that's the case then yeah there is definitely no reason why he can't stand up in court.
