Midnight Cowboy (1969), Deliverance (1972), and Last Tango in Paris (1972). Only a coincidence I guess. It's not like movie studios and production companies wanted to usher in and welcome degeneracy for the "benefit" of the general population.

I watched LTIP at the movies the year it was produced that scene was not in the cinema version I saw, blame the Australian censors.
