Were Jews Behind the Great Chicago Fire of 1871? (Conspiracy)

I was talking with somebody about the great Chicago fire and I said “what do you want to bet the Jewish population grew in the area just before the fire?” So I search DuckDuckGo and find the (((Wiki))) page for Jewish population in Chicago, is it the history section, and sure enough, not only did a massive influx of Jews arrive during the middle of the century, but also all of the Jews moved from downtown to the Lakeshore after the fire.

I haven’t taken the time to dig deeper, but I feel like this is a lead worth exploring.

It would be worth taking a look at the insurance claim records at the time if they have not been destroyed. The answer will be there. The Larry Silverstien claim is a good modern day example of this sort of thing .

not sure, but they were behind the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire. Have a taste of this sauce:

Wiki: "The jury acquitted the two men of first- and second-degree manslaughter, but they were found liable of wrongful death during a subsequent civil suit in 1913 in which plaintiffs were awarded compensation in the amount of $75 per deceased victim. The insurance company paid Blanck and Harris about $60,000 more than the reported losses, or about $400 per casualty [THEY MADE MONEY ON THIS]. In 1913, Blanck was once again arrested for locking the door in his factory during working hours. He was fined $20."
