Killed off by COINTELPRO and similar programs. Remember in the early 2000s when if you disagreed with the war you were un-American? That's what it looks like to have a pro-war movement kill off and then replace an anti-war movement.

Try criticizing US interventions against Al-Qaeda or ISIS right now.
