We rely on tourism for summer business, so that was low this year. School is back in, stores are open with Plastic windows everywhere, and it is finally seeming to be business as usual. Sales volume is way down though, unless you sell food or home renovation supplies. All the trades and jobbers are employed, but the biggest projects are still on hold. The usual Blackhawk and dual-rotor helis are travelling through again after 6 months of not seeing them (they gas up and overnight here), And large road projects are Going ahead.
No civil unrest here but that’s due to the population makeup and a rifles in every second home.

A bunch of filth from NY has been living on our rivers since April. They are "river-rafting". They also have their kids with them. CPS has been checking them all out and the DNR is looking at all of the needles and other litter everywhere.

Thanks for the heads up - this kind of migration is what I’m looking for. It’s not the end game but a step towards it. People becoming permanent RV dwellers (houseboats, etc) is a huge red flag.
Hopefully CPS does their job with these folks.

We all report them any chance we get. fuck'em all. I have no pity for that scum.
