"Numbers don't lie." (the maniacal genius of Dr. Fauci)

This is true. "Numbers do not lie."

It's called a "No shit, Sherlock!" statement. (NSS)

Unfortunately, Dr. Fauci has been using these types of NSS statements in his professional capacity. They communicate nothing, at best.

At worst, Dr. Fauci has been using NSS statements to intentionally misrepresent the data.

The question was:

• Q: "Does the U.S. has the worst coronavirus outbreak in the world?"

Dr. Fauci's answer was:

• A: "The numbers don't lie."

BOTTOM LINE:

Dr. Fauci didn't answer the question.

Dr. Fauci wasn't speaking implicitly ... as most of us might assume given "normal people conversation"

Dr. Fauci simply stated ANOTHER, SOMEWHAT-RELATED fact: "The numbers don't lie."

THAT's TRUE.

Dr. Fauci is basically saying "I am not going to interpret the numbers for you."

• i.e.,. "Numbers don't lie ....go interpret the numbers yourself."

The numbers - as it turns out - don't support the existence of a CoronaVirus™ Pandemic.

It's all very disingenuous and maniacal on Fauci's part.

Fauci knows damn well that he is speaking to a room full of monkeys† who do not understand "science-speak", and that w/o proper context, the monkeys† will eagerly report drama at any possible opportunity.

Fauci knows this.

• Don't confuse Fauci's NSS statements as being implicit statements of affirmation. Dr. Fauci isn't implying anything. The numbers do not lie. NSS! WHAT DO THE NUMBERS SAY?? Isn't that why Fauci the highest paid Federal employee -- to INTERPRET the data, or is Fauci just an overpaid accountant - simply masquerading as someone with unique insight?

I repeat, Fauci is fully aware of his historically irresponsible detachment from CRITICAL context.
