A plausible explanation of Deja Vu is an interference caused by time travel. A Deja Vu makes you feel like you know exactly what's happening right before it happens. This feeling might be caused by a time traveler who changed something in the past, which made your brain conform to the changed future, because your persona is correlated to the event. Not everybody experience the Deja Vu feeling, which also might be also because human brains have different IQ and sensibility.

The most plausible explanation I’ve ever heard for deja vu is a memory being simultaneously stored in both the short and long term memory centers.
But sure, time travel is also a possibility
