That's one delusional take anyway. "Love" is not likely to be inspired by this series - or indeed modernity itself.

I watched the trailer and my first thought about the alternate world was... a)Why are the blacks wearing European style clothes? and B)Why does everything look so old?

I wondered if they had a Haiti style slave revolt and the civilization stopped dead in its tracks for a hundred fifty years.
