Yeah, never mind the huge uranium enrichment centers that they built underground. Tell the Ayatollah I said hey the next time he hands you your knee pads.

You realise Iran has research reactors right? for creating isotopes and other materials for medical research. They need highly enriched uranium. Also, their goal of moving to renewable energy source and turning their oil into exports makes perfect economic sense. Too much sense for the comfort of other potentially smaller economies in the region who seek to maintain a hegemony there.

Nobody hides as many centrifuges in the configurations that they were using in underground bunkers, unless there is a military intent. I haven't even touched on laser isotope separation facilities, which are much easier to hide. Why else would they stonewall the IAEA on numerous occasions, complete with attempting to hide activities at nuclear facilities? I understand that other countries in the region have done the same thing, and I would agree that those issues need to be addressed. If the Iranians really want to be seen as forging peaceful initiatives, they need to stop the deliberate misdirection. It isn't lending them any credibility in the international sphere.

Well, perhaps they hide them because Israel has a tendency to sabotage every one it can get its hands on?
