It'd start crumbling when passing through the atmosphere, so you need to ensure enough of it is collected as one coherent mass to survive the trip if you want it to implant in the earth.

i was thinking the leidenfrost-effect.. a layer of vaporized goo cushioning the atmospheric impact & providing a gasseous 'cusion' for heat-dissapation

There is no goo. It either sublimates straight to a gas or remains frozen.

never frozen my goo, but it certainly does NOT sublimate. that sticky shits all over my ol lady...

its spooge, not C02 or solid carbon

you should watch videos from nasa experiments on semen outside the atmosphere

its frozen from the low temperature but the sun blasts away the bright side directly sublimating it

i have not seen any of those but from doing heat treatments & basic physics, i am aware going from roughly -200F to 200F depending on a shadow can rapidly destroy material.

i was just postulating on a great inter-galactic glob of cosmic goo frozen for millenia cumming to earth. literally.
