It is a fact that Voat is populated mainly by clones. There are only two active subverses, news and politics. There is no active subverse that has to do with any normal human interests. As far as I know, clones don't have any interests, they only execute orders. Anyway, it looks like there were many people before, who started interesting subverses, but after a while had to leave. I don't know exactly what happened, but the fact that there is no more search engine makes me think that the owners don't really care about Voat being popular. The only people so much crazy I know are Judeo-Satanists.
