What I don't like about Tesla is their anti-consumer repair rules. They're like Apple with requiring their mechanics to do the work. You have to agree to their terms of service to use a car that YOU OWN. Also I'm not a fan of replacing perfectly fine mechanical devices with technology. They have almost no buttons, only a big touchscreen, which you have to use to even open the glove box. I like real switches and stuff, but maybe that's just me. The cars overall seem pretty cool, and I see great promise in electric cars, but I just hate those specific things.
I completely agree. I cant stand these new cars with buttons for everything, even the drive selectors. Mechanical (most times) is more reliable and easiest to use. I don't even want an automatic car, much less a fuckn car where I have to use a touch screen to do everything. Idk maybe we are old. I agree though, once you buy something it is yours to modify and work on as you please. I can't stand their proprietary bullshit. There is no need for it. Everyone worships this dude. Idgi. He's a fuckn weirdo nerd, and I haven't seen any evidence that he is as smart as people claim. Dude is terrible at constructing a complete sentence or conveying thoughts through speech. He's a fuckn sped.
